Canadians are split on how they feel about sharing a row with Rover on an airplane. Small pets are allowed by some airlines, a practice not endorsed by everyone.
A poll by the Angus Reid Institute show that 45 per cent of Canadians are okay flying with Fido in the cabin but about the same number, 42 per cent, prefer that the pet be banished to the cargo hold.
Two in five, 41 per cent, say allergies are their primary concern while one in five was more concerned about the potential for noise in the cabin.
