A 24-year-old Ontario woman had her license suspended and vehicle seized after being clocked driving 195 km/h on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Holyrood RCMP caught the woman’s white Mercedes on the radar around 7:50 last Thursday evening.
The driver attempted to flee police, but got caught in heavy traffic and was pulled over.
The accused was ticketed for driving more than 51 km/h over the posted limit as well as imprudent driving.
A 24-year-old man was pulled over by RNC on Sunday after being caught driving his motorcycle 180 km/h on the Team Gushue Highway where the speed limit is 80 km/h.
