Carbon MonCarbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas that is produced by incomplete burning of carbon-based fuels. It is not caused by a propane leak. I agree with the firedept. Any home that burns a carbon based fuel, propane, furnace oil or wood should have at lease one detector. I have a monitered Carbon monoxide detector in my home and it did save my family.
