The opposition namely the NDP should find something to do with their time instead of stirring up trouble where none exists. GOD HELP US IF THEY GET MORE MEMBERS ELECTED THAN THE FIVE THEY HAVE NOW. THEY ARE ALWAYS IN THE MEDIA ENOUGH TO THE POINT WHERE ONE KEEPS TUNING OUT.

This PC Government is rotten to the core. This happens when a government is on their last legs. We have always voted PC but not the next time. Time for new leadership.

These government backbenchers are pathetic.

It seems this is a positive move. To have the Minister's assistant working through an inquiry for you. It would certainly move things along faster. WHAT'S THE COMPLAINING ABOUT?

Maybe if they hadn't abused thier positions as MHA's by harrassing Government workers, there wouldn't have to be a policy like this. Take a look at yourself instead of finger-pointing. No wonder no one takes Newfoundlanders seriously with clowns like these representing us.

i can't say i feel comfortable knowing that patronage-appointed EAs who may or may not have privacy training, will be handling my sensitive personal info, should i go to my MHA with an issue. i don't like this at all!

I can understand the government doing this. The liberals and NDP would go to the civil servant and get info they would put a spin on and then run to the media and use against the government. No consideration whatsoever as to the trouble they would cause the civil, maybe get them fired.

Well.....I would have to think that the govt doing this is a good thing, as I would not believe a word uttered by anyone in the ndp or disappearing liberals.....they are strictly opportunist looking for the next bandwagon to jump on.......the liberals have nothing and the ndp will stoop pretty low........so maybe the opposition would be best if they just kept quiet, and kept the "noise" to a minimum.

Its time to get rid of Dunderdale and her clowns. Its bad enough to info from the gov't when needed let alone add more redtape to hinder the progress. In all my years this gov't is the worst I have seen. Danny wasn't too bad; at least he would have good explanations; and meet with the media to relay info. Dunderdale gets frustrated when interviewed;its like she going out of her way to provide info.....its your job...keep the people in the loop not in the dark. Another couple of years and she finished anyway.

who do you think does the work behind the scenes. The staff of the minister's and the mha's office do all the research for them. You would think a person would be more relieved that the Minister's office will be checking on therir issue.

we elected MHAs , some of whom formed government , not their assistants. just another roadblock of frustration for constituents who have an urgent problem requiring input from their MHA.
