Pearl :

This is for Bobnl and all other parents of school aged children, you need to be prepared ALL of the time that school may close on any given day. Schools do close for reasons other than weather related (things such as heating, plumbing, flooding issues will cause a school to close during a regular school).

If the weather conditions are too bad for my children to go to school, my children will not be going whether the schools are open or not.

Not Again :

In my opinion in reply to Bobnl , I agree with you there , Keep our kids safe and not have schools and colleges open tomorrow and let them stay home and be safe with there families

Also Gb , Yes they should all remain closed but you know that people are greedy for their sales and such that's why even in a snowstorm they will close but I guarantee you one thing my husband works and he has to walk to work and if its too bad he will not be walking out that door to go to work tomorrow morning.

Also be prepared for 72 hours as well..

What about schools??? no talk about what they are planning to do with the forecast, can the boards not give a hint as to whether they'll remain open or close so people with kids can plan ahead?????

Maybe Government and business should remain closed for the morning when we are going to experience the brunt of either a bad tropical storm or a level 1 hurricane. O'brien expects us to be prepared but thats hard to do when we are sitting in a office somewhere while the roof is being torn from our homes.... I beginning to think that this occupational health and safety thing is becoming a joke when they require their employees to make an appearence under these extreme conditions

we have been following these storms,you if you got any thing that could do damage around your house that could do damages,if you got any thing around yours that belongs to you that could cause damage to some body else's property get it secure or you could be held liable or it could do damages to your own property,you will be held responsiable for the damages if you can not do your self call some one for assissance
