What sickens me the most right now and just absolutly turns my stomach is that he won't get put away for a long time and someone elses daughter out there is soon going to fall victim to this piece of S**T when he gets out again. Another life destroyed. YaYYYYY to our Justice System.

Seems to me our justice system keeps putting the garbage back on the streets. Put the garbage where it belongs for good. ........ At the bottom of RobinHood Bay. Unfortunately we all know how this will turn out before the trial begins .......but with any luck he will be able to compose a great RAP song by then!

As a victim at 16 years old myself, I feel so badly for this young girl. She is so brave to come forward. I never, but now I wish I had. I hope he gets a long sentence which includes mandatory therapy. If they had kept him in prison longer for his previous assault charge this poor young girl would never have had to go through this. Most people are afraid to come forward because the judges just give them a slap on the wrist and the embarrassment and humiliation just doesn't make it seem worthwhile, so we let these people walk. It's time for this to change.

He would be more than threatened if he touched my child. He deserves to rot in hell for what he did...also I would gladly accept any charges laid if I threatened him. Why would anyone feel sorry for this loser..the justice system needs to keep these people out of society until they can get the help they need..my god..what is wrong with this world?

I say his sentence should be one day with the family or torture before death, which is pretty much the same as a day with the family....Why do we protect these people? as far as I'm concerned he just waved his rights, problem is once u become a scumbag u seem to get more rights then everyone else,it sickens me, I have 16 year old daughter and I would stop at nothing to get him, the family should get a medal for their efforts....

this type of thing will happen more often in the future because the injustice system have continually been just giving a slap on the wrist to scum like that. the defence lawyers always bully crown lawyers into reccomending light sentences and the judge has to agree with them. then once a light sentence is on the record it has to be the sentence for the rest of the scum of society. just my humble opinion. have a nice day.

not if, but when the scum bag ever gets out, more power to her relatives. This scumbag should be found hanging from a tree somewhere or at the bottom of the harbour. Really what good is he ever going to be to society. Remember this is not his first charge either. Hang the bastard and be done with it. they will probably let him out on house arrest or something, or at the very worst put him on a sex offenders list, which does what?? He can still live a free life going about his business of doing this crime to somebody new.
