Kirk Keeping of St. Jacques, facing first degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Chantel John of Conne River on January 9, has been charged with attempted murder.
According to court documents, the attempted murder charge is against Ann Jeddore, also known as Ann MacDonald.

Keeping appeared in Grand Falls-Windsor Provincial Court this morning. His previous charges were dropped and replaced with four new charges, including the murder and attempted murder charges, and two breaches.
Keeping had previously been in a relationship with Chantel John.
Keeping’s next court appearance is set for May 1 in Grand Falls-Windsor.
