Iceberg season is officially here.
A number of icebergs have been spotted off St. John’s with another sitting just outside of the mouth of St. John’s Harbour.
PAL Airlines and Aerospace Meteorologist, Brian Walsh says more are drifting off the Bonavista Peninsula, and dozens could be seen off the coast from Long Point in Twillingate over the weekend.
Walsh says onshore winds should push the many icebergs off the northeast coast closer to shore in the coming week.
