Charges are pending as RCMP investigate a case of alleged maltreatment of dogs by a breeder in Clarke’s Beach.
Bay Roberts RCMP with the help of the Harbour Grace RCMP General Investigation Division and the Baccalieu Trail SPCA, seized five severely malnourished dogs—one of which was pregnant—from the home on Saturday.
The animals were taken to the Baccalieu Trail Animal Hospital for immediate veterinary care.
