A simple act of kindness, caught on camera and shared online, has resulted in accolades for a Metrobus driver.
A bystander near the Avalon Mall witnessed the driver leave the bus to help an elderly passenger whose shoes were untied.
Worried that the woman, who could not bend to tie them herself, would trip and fall, the driver dropped to his knee and tied the woman’s shoes himself.
The driver got back on the bus, and continued with his route but the act has since gone viral on social media.
