The Consumer Group for Fair Gas Prices’ forecast for fuel cost increase across the board this week was spot on, not as high as was originally predicted.
The maximum price for gas at the pumps is up this week by one cent per litre, but diesel is increasing by close to 2 cents (1.9) a litre.
Furnace and stove oil are rising by just over a cent-and-a-half (1.6), while residential propane will cost consumers just over half a cent more (0.7).
