The Mayor of Paradise says they wanted to get started on the construction season as early as possible.
Dan Bobbett was responding to complaints about traffic slowdowns in the busy, growing town due to road construction on Topsail Road and McNamara Drive Roundabout.
Bobbett says they’re doing their best to keep traffic flowing, but they also wanted to ensure there were no delays in getting construction started.
He says there will be detours and partial closures in place, but they’re trying to keep traffic flowing during the busy rush hour period.
