Two men are without their licenses and vehicles after being busted by police for driving well over the posted speed limit over the weekend.
On Saturday May 25th, Holyrood RCMP were rolling out traffic enforcement on the TCH near Foxtrap when two vehicles were clocked travelling at speeds more than 51 km/h over the posted limit.
Both vehicles were stopped by police and the drivers, a 19-year-old man from Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s and a 38-year-old man from Clarke’s Beach were charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
They both had their driver’s license suspended for 7-days and their vehicles were impounded for 3-days.
