If you live or work in St. John’s, chances are your commute is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

The second phase of construction work is set to begin late next month on Kenmount Road and continue for the next five months.

The work, which will include upgrades to the storm sewer will concentrate on the section of Kenmount between Polina Road and Peet Street.

The city is working with local businesses to minimize the impact.

Disruptions and slowdowns are expected while sidewalks will be maintained on one side of the road during construction.
