The president of CUPE Newfoundland and Labrador says they will not be giving up concessions the next time they head to the table.
The union kicked off its campaign heading into the next round of bargaining yesterday at Confederation Building.
CUPE President, Sherry Hillier, says the union will not be giving up what was negotiated in past years.
Hillier says the union is sending a message to the premier. She says that CUPE “means business” in 2020.
