Metro police tracked down a suspected impaired driver last night after a tip from a concerned citizen.
Somebody called the RNC about an impaired driver on St. Thomas Line in Paradise at around 7:30 p.m. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and the driver. Testing at RNC Headquarters showed that the 49-year-old woman had over twice the legal limit of alcohol in her blood. Her vehicle and driver’s license were seized and she was released to appear in court at a later date.
Two other people were nabbed by the RNC last night for drunk driving as well.
