Labrador City is doing something a little different this summer to help reduce the amount of litter.
Over 80 garbage bins in the town have been marked with either a letter or a number. When residents see the bin is starting to fill up, they can call 944-3602 or email recreation@labradorcity.ca, give the number or letter on the bin and someone will come change it.
The city says this will enable workers to come change the bins quickly as they can fill up fast in the summer.
