A CBS man has pleaded guilty in an unusual case involving human remains.
Twenty-year-old Lucas Dawe entered a guilty plea this week to interfering with human remains. He had previously pleaded not guilty and the case was set to go to trial.
RNC descended on an old cemetery connected to All Saints Anglican Parish in Foxtrap back in April after human remains were found at two separate locations in CBS.
Investigators centered their activity on a crypt in the oldest of four cemeteries. The grave in question belonged to a man who died in the 1850s. It’s not clear if more than one set of remains were disturbed.
Dawe’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 19th.
