A man has pleaded guilty to an armed robbery at the Ultramar gas station in Bay Roberts.
Anthony Bradbury entered the store in the early morning last July 15th and demanded cash after telling the cashier that he had a gun. The worker complied and the 30-year-old got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
RCMP say Bradbury was sentenced to 900 days in jail this week at court in Harbour Grace, not including the time he had served previous to the court date. He was also sentenced to 12 months probation, and ordered to provide a sample of his DNA to the National DNA Databank.
