VOCM Cares Foundation made a contribution to the Janeway Children’s Hospital 35th Annual Telethon this weekend.

The foundation presented a donation of $5,000 at the Avalon Mall yesterday.

Director of the board, Georgina Short and chair, Blair Patrick were there to reveal the cheques.

Patrick says the foundation is thrilled to support the Janeway. He says the mission statement for the VOCM Cares Foundation is to support health and children so there is no better way than to make a contribution to the Janeway.

The final tally is in and at the time of sign off yesterday the 35th Annual Janeway Telethon raised $3,505,214.00.

The 14 hour broadcast featured many stories of kids and their families who have called on the Janeway staff time and time again along with community & corporate communities coming together.
