With the House of Assembly set to open in a week, Leader of the Official Opposition, Ches Crosbie rolled out his critic roles and responsibilities today.
Now with seven more seats than when the House dissolved, Ches Crosbie has more wiggle room to match critics one-on-one with each cabinet minister.
Tony Wakeham, who lost the PC Leadership race to Crosbie last year will take over from Keith Hutchings in a number of areas, including Critic for Finance, Human Resource Secretariat, Public Service Commission, Office of the Chief Information Officer and NL Liquor Corporation.
David Brazil has been named Opposition House Leader, and Critic for Natural Resources, and Health and Community Services.
Rookie Helen Conway Ottenheimer has been named Critic for Justice and takes over from Tracey Perry as Critic for Status of Women. While Lloyd Parrot has been named Caucus Whip.
Crosbie says the PC Caucus is well equipped and eager to take on this challenge.
