Susan Furlong had just picked her 15-year-old daughter up from school. They were on Alderberry Lane, on their way home.
Furlong told the jury she noticed a man dashing around a taxi cab, and described feeling as though something was going to happen. That’s when someone knocked on her window, asking her to call 911.
Furlong testified there was an altercation between two men on the street, and says one of the men fell to the ground. She says the second man left in the taxi, and she waited with the victim until help arrived.
Emotional on the stand, she told the jury she learned that Jonathan Collins had died from his injuries when she went to the funeral home to see her brother in law.

An RNC officer that responded to the scene also testified this afternoon.
Trial resumes in the morning.
Cst. Kennedy says in the back of the ambulance, things were “hectic,” describing the victim convulsing. Kennedy held Collins hand throughout these “episodes.”@VOCMNEWS
