The project director for Muskrat Falls says oversight committee advisor Ernst & Young had ulterior motives for some of its recommendations and got him to a meeting under false pretenses.
Emails between Paul Harrington and EY show a war of words and no love lost between the two companies.
Nalcor was accused on numerous occasions of putting up roadblocks by not surrendering documents and information, but Harrington says EY often acted outside their scope of work.
On one occasion, he abruptly walked out of a meeting with the consultant just as the meeting started. He says he was told by Richard Noble of EY that they would be providing an update on their report, but that was not to be the case.
He says Noble was always trying to trick you into doing things and they they did not respect him.
