From the Mile One, to Prescott Street and back to George Street, fans lined the streets to cheer on the province’s first professional sports champions.

It was the first championship parade the city has seen, and Mayor Danny Breen says it was incredible.
He says the people of Newfoundland and Labrador are sports people, and like those that work hard and produce, and that’s exactly what the Growlers did.
