Andrew Younghusband, who was born in Australia but moved to St. John’s with his family as a young boy, has been the host of Canada’s Worst Driver since 2005 and has had hundreds of bad drivers come through his car, including a few fellow Newfoundlanders.
Younghusband says growing up in St. John’s gave him an advantage. He says there’s the old saying that “we’re fluent in crazy,” and is a reason why he was good at the gig.
He says growing up in St. John’s meant that you had to relate to every type of person – and he met every type during the show.

Jillian Kieley of the Gould’s was named Canada’s Worst Driver in Season 11.
