A 26-year-old Carbonear man had his licence suspended and his motorcycle impounded after he was charged with performing a stunt in Bay Roberts.

RCMP say the bike popped a wheelie and passed the officer at a high rate of speed as they were conducting a traffic stop in Bay Roberts.

The officer concluded the first traffic stopped, located the street bike, and pulled it over for stunting.
