This week is Refugee Week, and the Association of New Canadians is celebrating.

On Wednesday, people are invited to the ANC’s ESL School on Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s to meet the students and learn about their cultures of origin.

Between 10:00 a.m. and noon, there will be cultural booths, a coffee ceremony, dances, scarf and hijab wrapping and more.

A short concert will begin at 1:00 p.m..

The Association’s social enterprise food truck, Global Eats, will make its first appearance with a sampling menu.

Everyone is welcome and there is no admission fee.
