Police stopped a teen driver going over 50 kilometers over the speed limit on the Trans-Canada near Steady Brook in the early hours this morning.
At around 2:34 a.m. RNC patrol officers stopped a vehicle going 152 in a 100 zone.
The 18-year-old driver, from Rocky Harbour, was charged and given a seven-day suspension, while the vehicle was impounded for three days.
