Grand Falls-Windsor Fire Chief, Vince Mackenzie, admits even he was surprised by the fire hazard that his dryer created.
Mackenzie checked the dryer vent hose and was surprised at the amount of lint buildup, causing a potential fire hazard.
He reminds everyone to use non-combustible foil vent hose, and to check your dryer vent hose this Father’s Day.
