St. John’s-based Kraken has signed a $2.1-million contract for its KATFISH 180 robotic system.
The contract was signed with US-based ThayerMahan Incorporated, a company which specializes in the design, integration and operation of autonomous maritime systems for government, industry and academia.
The contract is the first order stemming from a strategic alliance entered between the two companies in February of 2018.
