A local Raptors fan represented his team but was ultimately duped by an American talk show crew while attending the game Toronto.

Over a million people are expected in Toronto today for the Raptors victory parade, topped off with a rally at Nathan Philips Square.

Adam Tucker of St. John’s was one of many fans caught on tape doffing their Raptors gear in favor of a Golden State Warriors jersey in what host Jimmy Kimmel called a test of their loyalty.

While some fans immediately dove into the blue and gold colours, Tucker put up a good fight for his team, but ultimately gave in. He swore he wouldn’t take off his Raptors gear, but eventually put on a Warriors hat and jersey, declaring “Go Warriors!” for the ABC cameras.
