Students in Laun Shoemaker’s Grade 4 French Immersion class at Beachy Cove Elementary in Portugal Cove-St. Philips have put together a music video all about climate change and species at risk.
“Vivre Sans Danger” was put together with the help of funding from the Conservation Corps and the Canadian Teachers Federation, and the creativity of local musician Dwayne Andrews.
Shoemaker says the kids are proud of the work they’ve done.
He says the children had already studied endangered animals. They worked through the lyrics and, with Dwayne’s help, recorded the children singing, laid down some tracks and mixed it altogether.
