A 32-year old man has been arrested and charged following a crash near Roddickton in October that claimed the life of a 33-year-old woman.
RCMP were called to the scene after a vehicle went down over an embankment. All three occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital, where the woman succumbed to her injuries.
Two others were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
This week police charged 32-year-old Brent Genge of Deadman’s Cove with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm. The accused appeared in Corner Brook provincial court via telephone and was released on a number of conditions.
The accused is scheduled to appear in St. Anthony provincial court July 23.
