The Independent Member for Mount Pearl-Southlands is concerned with the impact on traffic once the new Costco opens in Galway.
Paul Lane says he’s concerned that the roundabout at the top of Ruth Avenue will become a “nightmare.”
He’s been in contact with Transportation and Works, who have been working on line painting and signage in the area that he hopes will help.
Danny Williams, the developer behind Galway, says those travelling in from out of town can avoid the roundabouts altogether by accessing Costco through Galway Industrial off the highway.
