The remains of a Canadian soldier, who was killed during a training exercise in Bulgaria, have been returned home.
Bombardier Patrick Labrie died from injuries sustained during a parachute training exercise last Monday.
Labrie’s remains were returned home yesterday evening, as both family and fellow armed forces members paid their respects during a ceremony at MacDonald-Cartier International Airport in Ottawa.
Funeral arrangements for the fallen soldier have not yet been announced.
