A tip about a reckless driver in the area of Old Penneywell Road in St. John’s last night has resulted in the arrest of a man for a separate offence.
The RNC located the vehicle in a parking lot with two occupants aboard. The driver provided a false name to police. Once officers determined his identity, they charged him with providing false information and obstruction of a police officer. He also got several tickets for his driving behaviour.
