The NDP doesn’t plan on upsetting the apple cart when the House prepares to vote on the budget this week.
Leader Alison Coffin will have a bolstered caucus when the House sits, after Jordan Brown emerged the winner by two votes in a judicial recount for the district of Labrador West on Friday.
Coffin, an economist by profession, indicates it’s unlikely they’ll vote against the budget.
She says they recognize the importance of a stable economy and it would be very early in the current mandate to consider disrupting that process.
