Among the many people who stayed up to watch Newfoundlander Alex Newhook being chosen by the Colorado Avalanche in Friday night’s NHL draft was Premier Dwight Ball.
The Premier says he and all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are proud of Newhook’s accomplishment.
He has met Alex and his family and he’s followed his career for some time.
