The Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador will unveil its newest exhibit tomorrow.
“Evolving Traditions: People, Place and Wooden Boats” is a representation of the province’s boat building heritage.
Along with the unveiling, the Society of United Fishermen will be transferring ownership of their Lodge #2 to the Town of Winterton. The building will use the museum to expand its operations in Winterton as well as tell the story of the men who used wooden boats and their obligations to the community.
The exhibit unveiling will take place tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
