A man from Ontario has been charged with drunk driving after his car went across a lawn in Marystown and ended up in a ditch.
The accident happened hear the Gazebo at the Marystown Town Hall in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
Burin Peninsula RCMP arrested the 21-year-old who was sent to hospital. A blood sample was collected at the hospital.
The man’s license was suspended and his vehicle impounded.
The suspect will appear in court at a later date.
