A tip from the public led to the apprehension of a drunk driver in central Newfoundland on the weekend.
The RCMP were told of a car being driven erratically on the TCH near the weigh scales at Grand Falls-Windsor. Police located the vehicle and arrested the 63-year-old man who was behind the wheel. He blew twice the legal limit.
The man, who is from Carter’s Cove, will be back in court in October.
