It’s official.
The 2019 budget has officially passed in the House of Assembly.
The Liberals passed the budget through a minority government for the first time.
They gained support from the NDP and Independent, Paul Lane, this morning before going ahead with the final vote this evening.
The PC’s did vote against the budget, saying the Liberals didn’t act in the spirit of collaboration, by not accepting any of their 8 recommendations, and that goes against the will of the people, and the minority government.
With that, the House of Assembly will dissolve until it is adjourned on July 23rd.
