A Paradise man says his morning started on the wrong foot as he almost stepped on a snake.
The man, who chooses to remain nameless, says that about 8:00 this morning he arrived at work in Donovans Industrial Park to find a live snake adjacent to his car.
He’s unsure of where the snake came from, and believes he could have unknowingly brought the snake to his workplace from his home in Paradise.
There is no official word yet on the type of snake it was but the slithering reptile, about five feet long, was captured.
Snakes are not native to Newfoundland but, from time to time, one does turn up.
