The St. John’s International Airport Authority has a new chief executive officer. Peter Avery, who has been with the organization for 14 years, takes over from Keith Collins who retired last month.
Avery has been part of the significant transformation taking place at YYT in terms of passenger volume, the road and accommodations network, and retail expansion both inside and outside the airport terminal building.
Avery began his career at a national consulting engineering firm in Mount Pearl. He was educated at Memorial University and is a registered professional engineer in both Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario.
