Mullaley found that foods and beverages available to school-aged children were often not meeting the nutritional requirements of the School Food Guidelines.
The AG is also calling on the board to improve oversight and monitoring to ensure the safe transportation of students. She says drivers are not always completing the required training designed to reduce the risk of accidents, and not all schools comply with government policy for bus safety training to students.
Mullaley also concluded that improvements are needed to ensure healthier outcomes for students.
