The Liquor Corporation says a St. John’s man has been arrested and charged in connection with selling contraband cannabis.
NLC officials executed a search warrant on a St. John’s home with the help of Canada Post and RNC on June 26th and seized just over 20 pounds of cannabis.
The accused is scheduled for a first appearance August 14th.
NLC’s VP of Regulatory Services and Social Responsibility, Sean Ryan, says they are continuing their efforts to clamp down on the illicit market.
