The driver of an ATV, injured in a crash with a vehicle in York Harbour on Tuesday, is facing impaired driving charges.
RCMP say the collision happened around 7:00 p.m. on the main road in the west coast community.
The 35-year-old driver of the ATV was taken to hospital for treatment and released. He was taken back to the Corner Brook RCMP detachment where he supplied breath samples that were more than twice the legal limit.
He was charged with impaired driving. His ATV was seized and his licence suspended.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in September.
