A new boardwalk and recreational infrastructure will be possible thanks to joint funding announced in Holyrood this morning.
Funding could not have come at a better time for the Town of Holyrood as they celebrate their Come Home Year and 50 years as a municipality.

$112,000 was announced at the Holyrood Municipal Office this morning. The funding will be used to develop a board walk area and new festival grounds.
Pam Parsons, parliamentary secretary for Transportation and works made the announcement on behalf of Christopher Mitchelmore.
Ken McDonald, MP for Avalon, was also in attendance.
McDonald believes the new board walk area will be a huge asset to the town for residents and visitors alike.
