Over 600 young people from the Killick Coast are getting ready for a big week of sports in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s.

The Killick Coast communities which consists of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, Logy Bay-Middle Cove -Outer Cove, Torbay, Bauline, Flat Rock and Pouch Cove, will compete throughout the week in five different sports.

The games begin tomorrow and continue until Thursday.

Stephanie Tucker, Communications Coordinator for the Town of Portugal Cove St. Philip’s says it is an exciting event for everyone involved. She says people come back because it is a fun, positive experience and it is an overall exciting tournament.
