A 30-year-old man was reportedly hit by a dark-coloured SUV that was turning from Columbus Drive onto Blackmarsh Road. The force of the collision threw the man about three metres away, where he struck a stopped vehicle, denting its door.
The driver allegedly paused in the road a short distance away before fleeing the scene.

RNC canvassed the area, searching for CCTV footage from nearby businesses hoping to identify the vehicle, which likely had front-end damage from the collision.
The victim was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police confirm the man is in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers.
